Kids Flower Foundation Helps Launch Website with
Texas PTA

Those who attended the Texas PTA
2007 Summer Leadership Seminar in Austin July
20-22 were treated to "the best PTA website
building tool ever" courtesy of the Parent
Teacher Network and the Texas PTA. Training for
this exciting program in this first rollout year
was made possible by the Kids Flower Foundation. With this
new program PTAs can customize the look of their
site, upload and share files, newsletters, and
forms with members, as well as conduct many
other useful web-based activities.

Kids Flower Foundation Attends California State PTA
Convention

Hundreds of PTAs attending this
year’s California State PTA Convention held in
Sacramento May 3-6 got an opportunity to learn
about the Kids Flower Foundation’s flower
fundraising program. Flowers were definitely a hit
with those schools looking to modify their
fundraising programs in light of SB 12, which
encourages healthier choices for lifestyles. The
Kids Flower Foundation offers an innovative
program for Valentine’s Day with flowers shipped
fresh from the farm directly to California
schools. And PTA attendees also liked that
students would be motivated by the fact that every
rose bouquet sold would help educate children of
flower farm workers in South
America.

WATCH
D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is the safe
school initiative of the National Center for
Fathering that involves fathers and father
figures to help create a more safe and secure
learning environment in our nation's schools.
This year WATCH D.O.G.S. will promote
Valentine’s Day 2008 flower fundraising to over
700 schools across the
USA.
Who
are WATCH D.O.G.S.? Fathers, grandfathers,
step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures
who volunteer to serve at least one day each
year in a variety of school activities as
assigned by the school principal or other
administrator. School administrators and dads
both agree WATCH D.O.G.S. is a winner! Kids Flower Foundation is pleased
to be a part of the WATCH D.O.G.S.' fundraising
efforts for the second straight
year.

20,000
mothers attending Disneyland this Mother’s Day
were given fresh flowers courtesy of Disneyland
and the Kids Flower Foundation, according
to Terry Johnson, the Foundation's Executive
Director. Mothers received flowers
featuring our brand which
contributes a significant portion of their
revenue to support education of children in
flower producing countries in South America as
well as to local children’s charities in the
communities where flowers are sold.
Armellini Trucking transported flowers to their
wholesale customers who handled the distribution
for this program, according to David Armellini,
President, Armellini Trucking. "We are
pleased to be supporting the activities of the Kids Flower Foundation," stated
Armellini. "There is no better way to increase
brand awareness than by bringing flowers,
mothers and their kids together at Disneyland",
explained Johnson. "We are delighted to have
worked with Disneyland to promote Mother's Day
and the Kids Flower Foundation."
